Dr. Lindy Lee Memorial Fund for the Advancement of Addiction Medicine - in memory of Laurie Magee


Laurie Magee was a graduate of the Pysch Nursing Program in Brandon and found her professional calling working in the field of addictions. She dedicated herself to gaining extensive knowledge to support those affected by opiate addiction. To read her full obituary, click here.

 The Dr. Lindy Lee Memorial Fund for the Advancement of Addiction Medicine was created in loving memory of Dr. Lindy Lee through her family and friends. This fund honours Dr. Lee’s passion and commitment to the care of addicted patients in Manitoba by supporting education and awareness of Addiction Medicine.

 Gifts to this fund, in memory of Laurie Magee, will receive a charitable tax receipt and will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as grants to local registered charities. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit our community in perpetuity.
